Not suitable for children under 14
I would say they are for adults only. 14-year-olds are too rough for them. Unfortunately, the first use ended with almost half of it breaking. My 14 year old son had 8 friends and they were eating hot dogs outside. The children's claim is that the hot dogs kept sliding into the fire - it didn't help that they were standing and holding them almost perpendicular to the fire. I think they worked well with marshmallow. The concept is amazing but too flimsy.
