I give this product 4 stars because despite good workmanship and exactly what it's supposed to do, there are some aspects that need improvement can.1 . The hub gets very hot even when none of the ports are in use. It doesn't get hot enough to burn you, but it does get uncomfortably hot, which could be an issue if you plan to use this laptop while it's on your lap. The color of the hub doesn't quite match my space gray MacBook Pro, but it's VERY CLOSE.3. All ports on the hub grip tightly no matter what peripheral connector I use. This is a problem as I have to repair the hub and my computer every time I need to remove a plug from one of the ports. I have to pull so hard I'm afraid I'll damage my computer if I'm not careful. Alternatively, you can remove the entire hub each time you want to disconnect one of the ports, but that can get really annoying. Overall I'm very happy with the product and consider it to be the most useful of all the USB hubs sold by Revain, despite a few minor flaws.
