One of two factory-made protective cases that attach directly to the headphones. After tearing off, parts of the skin were torn out, and the same problem arose when replacing. Rather than trying to get a third replacement, I took the liberty of heating it with a hair dryer to slowly and carefully remove the plastic protector. Some traces remain, but that's not so noticeable compared to the missing skin in the first set. The sound quality of the headphones themselves is okay. Highs and mids left a lot to be desired for a $299 pair of headphones.
