I've had my Garmin since January 2019. Last June I decided to buy them to keep in my travel bag and in my car . I've been using my original Garmin cable for all of the above for a number of years and it still works great. One of the cables from this kit has barely been connected in a year. The one in my car has had very little use so I'm not sure if this is an isolated case. In any case, the only good cable stays at home and for travel, the Garmin branded cable will be my choice as I consider it the only reliable one at the moment.
