I just completed a patio using 2x6 pressure treated decking. Most boards were significantly deformed. I used 5 spacers and the Cepco Tool BW-2 BoWrench Decking Tool to straighten the planks. I placed the standoffs over the studs and then used an arc wrench to press the board against the standoffs. Spaces made extremely repetitive. I used screws and pre-drilled each hole. I used screw finders to line up each hole. Everything looks great. Proper spacing increases the longevity of your deck by allowing airflow. The air flow shortens the drying time of the terrace. This will prevent water from rotting.
