Nice and simple design. Heats a full pot in about 6-10 minutes. I thought about getting one with multiple heat settings (for tea, for example). But in the end after using it for 2 months it was simple and easy enough to use. Very practical with automatic switch-off. I would have rated it higher but I did notice a bit of browning at the bottom of the kettle. I'll try some lemon juice as another reviewer reported and see how things go in another 2 months. It worked fine yesterday morning and when I went to boil water in the evening the on/off button didn't seem to work. About 14 months after purchase. It was great while it lasted but I probably won't buy another Ovente due to the workmanship of the product.
