
adapter is ok - mine was pretty tight. It is made of light alloy, combines autofocus perfectly. You can remove the tripod mount (an Allen key is included for this). It's not as handy as the Cannon adapter and it's not weatherproof, but it'll do fine for most uses if it holds up. You have to be careful to fully lock the lenses on it - it can be rotated fully without the pin snapping (once happened). So try turning the lens back after you think it's locked. I'm coming back after comparing it with the Canon version, which I also ordered with the collar.
