I wanted to replace my rabbits with hay so I decided to try this. Her favorite hay wasn't available either. There are some good fresh long skeins of hay here, but too many brown and crumbling dusty chunks of hay. And for some reason my rabbits don't even eat good dental floss. They like the rough, fibrous cut 1 cut best. It doesn't look like 1st cut to me. The strands are too soft. Some people seem to have received good boxes, so maybe it's just a coincidence for me. I don't know but the seller accepted the refund so still getting good feedback.
