Antenna just for show
Works well and the range is good, but the antenna is 100% just for show. You might as well buy another adapter as long as you're considering that for the antenna only. I first noticed that the signal strength was about the same with and without the antenna, then I used a USB to SMA extension cable to plug the adapter into my computer case (to protect it from any Wi-Fi signal) and the antenna outside the housing . I wasn't surprised that it lost almost 100% of the Wi-Fi signal. A good product spoiled by dishonesty.
