A lot of young women at my place of work use dry shampoo and keep talking about it. They have to wash their hair less often, which makes the hair color last longer and also avoids using shampoos, which tend to dry out the hair. I thought I'd try again, so I asked Vine about it. Try one: I tried tying my hair in a messy bun and tried to put off washing my hair until at least the next day. . (I usually wash my hair every other day, except in the summer when it's more frequent because I swim in the pool.) Anyway, my hair needs a little body and strength for a messy bun, and I figured this dry shampoo could it give me that. I squirted and oh my how much came out! I tried combing it and it just turned into a mess. The lesson was noted and I had to wash my hair in the usual way. Second try. I decided to give the messy bun another try and not wash my hair. This time I pressed the spray button for about a second and it was perfect. I did it around the head a few more times - very quick shots. I did it with my hands and tried again with the sloppy bun. It worked this time! I made it another day without washing my hair with water. I feel like my hair has faded a bit but I was fine with that because I kept some of the shine. I have very thin, fine hair and any product that has weight only weighs it down. I have to be very careful with hairsprays, leave-in conditioners, gels or mousses. I guess that's why I can't go more than two days without washing my hair. This product got me on day three but that was it. And to get it, I had to make short, hard sprays to avoid using too much. Overall, I liked this product because I can actually use it. I couldn't use the last dry shampoo on my hair at all. Whether you like this product depends on what type of hair you have. I would suggest trying it in very small amounts first until you see how it works for you. Short, sharp splashes!
