Purchased Nerdwax after purchasing SpecStick. Nerdwax costs more and yields half as much product, 2 grams versus 4.25 grams per stick. You fool the consumer into thinking that if you make the packaging more than twice as long as the actual product, you're getting a lot more. You can buy two SpecSticks for less than 4 packs of Nerdwax and still get more product to use. After buying both, it's easy to see that Nerdwax is a rip off compared to them. Both products are equally effective, although SpecStick has a pleasant smell and both are made in the USA. The photo shows the size of the pack compared to the total amount of product in the tube. The SpecStick is the exact size of a tube of lip balm and lasts twice as long as Nerdwax. 2nd review: I work in a hospital and have to wear a mask that day, so of course I had to deal with fogged lenses. on the occasion. I have found that SpecStick when applied to the top of the mask provides a very effective seal, prevents fogging and wipes off the face easily. I also tried the competitor but it didn't last long while the SpecStick lasted most of my shift. I even used it to seal everything around the mask and it worked great. There is more to admire when it comes to this very useful product.
