I love this watch and wouldn't trade it for any other. For my purposes it's just perfect. It's cheap, it's tiny, and it's light (I forget I'm carrying it). He is no more than he should be. I'm in chiropractic school and I can keep them on when treating patients while my colleagues with their huge watches have to take them off. There are stopwatch and alarm functions that I rarely use myself. One button lets you quickly check the date (I use it a lot). The timer is a simple push of a button that expands the bar at the top of the screen from 1 to 3, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 30 minutes. The bar will decrease over time until it is depleted and the timer expires. If you need a more accurate timer, this will not work for your purposes. It has no backlight. I know it says "women's watch" but I think it still fits my wrist. I use 5 of the 10 holes on the strap but I have small wrists for a man.
