I bought this as a travel dock for my switch so it takes up less room in my suitcase than the dock that comes with the console. I have taken it on several trips and am very happy with it. Two small flaws, but not shooting stars for me: 1) The blue lights on the dock are very bright in a small room and can be distracting 2) The dock doesn't work. tend to slip on something like a table or tabletop when cable tension is present, but this can be remedied by adjusting the cables or placing the dock on a less slippery surface. Overall I'm happy with the docking station and it's a good alternative for those who travel and need a small form factor docking station.
