Review on Cobra Golf Ultralight Cart Bag 2020 by Mike Davan

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Decent but imperfect bag not suitable for trolley use.

Two disappointments, one big and one small. The biggest problem is the design. The oversized stick slot is on the wrong side of the push/pull cart bag. The bag should be placed on a push-to-push trolley or even a trolley with the pockets facing out so they can be accessed. Me and I think most people group their cleats and short irons around the club on the bottom (car handle side) of the bag. The racquet slot on this bag is on the top of the bag. If you group the driver and other wooden and longer sticks on the opposite (lower) end, you will not be able to access the trolley's ball and accessory compartment. It's such a fundamental design flaw that I never thought about it or realized it until I installed my bag on a hand truck. This version only makes sense if the bag is to be used on a power cart. The only solution is to group the driver and wood around the stick at the top of the bag. That seems strange. Not exactly tragic, but I think it's against convention and a lazy design. If you're not a walker and you're using a power cart, it doesn't matter. The second, minor issue is that unlike the photo, there is no white on the bag. It's not unattractive but would definitely be more attractive in my opinion with a white accent as shown on the website. The workmanship and materials appear to be of good quality.

Pros
  • Pass-Thru trolley strap holds bag to trolley and allows access to each bag.
Cons
  • Protection
