WOW Some people just don't understand how things in life work. If you use a very fine needle, they won't work. If you are using yarn very close to the maximum needle size they will not work. First the wire needs to go through the eyelet, if the eyelet is too small they won't work. You need to thread the thread through the wire. You will pull 2 wires and 2 threads through the eyelet (along with the bend of the thread, which is over the wire at the same time). So beware, if you have a small eye or are working with thread close to the maximum needle size, it won't work. I use them on all sewing machines. they work for them all. Blind stitch, overlock stitch (2 needles). These machines have curved needles that are almost impossible to see with the naked eye, let alone thread them. And they thread on my lockstitch and chainstitch machines. I put them in a car crate and only use them on the car they were folded for. And yes, after repeated use, the wire will fatigue and break. They won't last forever.
