Review on Smart electric grill Tefal Optigrill+ Initial GC706D34 with thickness sensor, steel/black by Micha Gozdalik ᠌

Excellent product, the best quality.

I was a little skeptical at first about grills, as there is a slow cooker, a toaster, a double boiler. I thought to take a pure sandwich maker to make sandwiches in the morning. After reading the forums, I decided to take it, as a result, the grill almost completely replaced all of the above devices. - sandwiches, I cook almost every day, with an egg (pictured), cheese, mushrooms, vegetables, mix onions. I buy either toast bread or hot dog buns. - chicken fillet - excellent, the main thing is not to take thick pieces, but this applies to all meat, the tefal itself in the instructions writes preferably no more than 4 cm, optimally 1-1.5; - pork - excellent, marinated for 3 hours, fried sausages on the program, the main thing is not to take thick pieces again; - cutlets for beef burgers - no questions at all, the only thing he did not recognize for some reason was the assembled burger on the program for burgers, apparently only for cutlets this mode; - Vegetables also come out well, but you need to know approximately how much time you need to spend on each, while I put 270 and wait from 5 to 10 minutes.

Pros
  • - Solid reliable design; - Easy to wash plates; - Fries without oil, nothing burns in auto modes; - Intuitive and user-friendly control panel; - Working automatic programs, except for vegetables, everything you need is there, you do not need to monitor the time and thickness of the meat; - Tilt and pan for collecting fat - the latter does not scatter around the kitchen; - Actually replaced a toaster, a slow cooker, a double boiler and partially a frying pan.
Cons
  • - I would add a sleep timer for manual programs like in De'Longhi. It is relevant primarily for vegetables, since there are no auto modes for them; - Wire 70cm, Tefal are you serious? At least a meter would have been made; - There was no recipe book in the kit, I looked at the review and it was in the 712 model; - After a week of use, it began to crackle when heated.
