It was the scariest moment of my life when I felt a little shock in my hand and everything went black for a second. The pliers I used got a mark from that event. After that incident I always double and triple check the fuse when working with electricity but I always say it's better to be safe than sorry which is why I got this heavy duty insulated pliers set to replace my old pliers. This not only protects me from high voltage in the event of an accident, but is also very comfortable to hold because it is soft and non-slip. It is very sharp and made of high quality material. that easily grabs and cuts everyone. Definitely one of the highest quality pliers I've ever seen. You can use the built-in case for storage, so don't throw it away. I just wish it came with a real lidded storage case but that doesn't matter for a set of 4 tongs as many don't come with a pouch or case. This set of pliers should last me a lifetime as far as I can tell and I'm very happy with them so far. 5 out of 5 stars.
