Circumstances in my house forced me to learn to cook - or starve and frozen dinners were no longer a tasty option for almost 2 years. A wonderful woman I met recently claimed she makes me low-calorie apple chips and apple pie desserts (instead of Truvia sugar). While the desserts were certainly delicious, the tedious work of slicing, peeling, and coring the apples by hand rendered them nearly useless.
