I love the weight/feel/weight of this device. I removed the star because while it can be expanded to the full width of my drawer, I had to use BOTH the left and right "pocket" because I couldn't expand just the left or right side to accommodate the Maximize size in either the left or the right pocket. I had to use both the left and right pockets. I'd rather have the big left. The middle drawer could not be pulled out all the way to the left or right. So you should have 2 smaller pockets. Another problem people had was the middle section sliding freely or the width wasn't fixed because once you expanded it to the width of your drawer I was able to solve it by using a piece of bamboo from the extra ones provided Cut pieces to fit the drawer Slot in the middle drawer and glue it to the middle part of the device. With that extra piece glued to the box. it 1) keeps the sides from coming together and 2) keeps the center section from sliding left or right. I'm not sure how the manufacturer can make this easier. but it would be nice if I didn't have to measure, cut, do that again. (I'm glad lots of extra babu were included. Remember. Measure twice. Cut once) and then glue them to the center of the device. 2 final thoughts. My drawer is 17 inches deep. The depth of this device is 17 inches. My drawer doesn't open every 17 inches, so there's room in the back that I can't see or get. There is something to consider when measuring. And the SIZE of individual areas is much longer than my standard. silver plate. Although this block fills the entire box. There is a lot of unused space around the actual cutlery. These problems are also annoying. In any case. I've been using this for several days. So far, so good.
