I avoided buying a new hair dryer even though it was long overdue because I rarely leave the house. To avoid this, I did a little research to determine what features and options I wanted in a hair dryer. I had a long list of multiple temperature settings, multiple speed settings, negative ions, and a removable rear filter screen. As a side note, do you know why negative ion hair dryers are so good? Positive ions cause your hair cuticle to open up, which means that the drier your hair, the more positive charge causes static electricity in your hair. On the other hand, ionic hair dryers (aka non-ionic hair dryers) emit negative ions that close and smooth your hair follicles, making your hair look smoother! And as a bonus, when you dry your hair with an ionic hair dryer, the negative ions cancel out the positive ones. Anyway, this hair dryer was a great price and had all the features I wanted in a hair dryer so I bought it. I'm SO glad I did! It's great, the diffuser connects with a magnet, making it easy to change. I like that I can change both the heat level and the breath strength. I love the ionic function more than I thought and my hair has never looked better!
