Review on Drive Inspiron 1546 N5010 N5110 Laptops by Kenny Rossi

The Hitachi hard drive on my Inspiron 15R/N5110 committed suicide so I ordered this new hard drive. I received a Toshiba hard drive and it works great. After the installation I had no problems and the installation of the operating system went smoothly. Installation wasn't difficult, although it did take a bit of time, thanks to Dell's ingenious decision to place the hard drive under the motherboard without an easily accessible bezel. If you have an Inspiron 15R/N5110 you will definitely need to remove the keyboard, LCD, palmrest and motherboard. But that is by no means due to the product. It's also a great opportunity to replace the CMOS battery and remove dust and dirt with supercritical fluid if you haven't opened your computer in years. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants more hard drive space or needs a suicidal hard drive replacement like I did.
