I'm amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

Excellent answer for the number 1000. Prior to it, there was a Genius camera that cost 600 and had a resolution of 640x480. The Logitech HD Webcam C270 surpasses its more affordable younger brother, the Genius, in every conceivable manner. If you use the camera on a desktop computer, you won't need any additional connections because it comes with its own microphone already installed. This webcam is without a doubt the best one I've ever used. I'm hoping that the free version of Skype will eventually offer 720p video.

Pros

Excellent clarity. A machine with a good sense of white balance. Nice, true colors. It does an excellent job of correcting the exposure (the illuminance). Microphone with exceptional sensitivity and sound quality. The autofocus performs really nicely.

Cons

The mount is not suitable for thick TFT monitors, therefore that may be considered a disadvantage rather than a bad in and of itself. I have Dell. Cable with little to no elasticity. If your camera has autofocus, you won't be able to shoot from close range.
