Review on Timex Womens T2P370 Weekender Slip Thru by Nick Howard

BREAK IN SIX WEEKS. TERRIBLE

Received my daughter's weekender along with three extra spare straps. It hasn't even been six weeks. Stopped working and when we took it off the strap to see if it needed a new battery it fell apart. I called customer service and the rep was rude and not helpful at all. I was told my only choice was to either bring it in for the watch to be repaired or send it in for service which would take up to 6 weeks. No substitute was offered, just the monotonous repetition of a statement that seemed to be uttered multiple times a day to numerous dissatisfied customers. I am so disappointed. My daughter wanted a watch for college, so I chose the Timex because it "keeps ticking". Well, not anymore. I still have the Timex my mom bought me as a graduation gift and it still works 40 years later. Of course, the quality isn't what it used to be. Just be aware that with poor quality products and even worse customer service you are taking a risk and wasting money and time. How much time is wasted is only an estimate as you cannot keep track of the time. This should have been offered at the customer service level, but at least they took care of it.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not automatic
