Terrible quality, I can only assume the 5 star reviewers either never used decent alligator clips or were pushed to give a good rating. The problem is the connection between the clips, which are so flimsy, and the rubber sheaths, which are so smooth and of poor quality that the clip simply twists away from your pinch to open the clip. I tried very hard to find a way to detach the shell with one hand, but I had to either hold it or remove the sheath from the clip, attach the clip and replace the sheath as a jacket, making the jacket's purpose moot to protect you from accidental shock or damage to other devices/cables nearby. If you absolutely need clamps at the lowest price, great, otherwise you can probably find better quality locally at a warehouse or port.
