Ideal for cold testing soap
At first I was afraid to buy this but all the litmus papers had terrible reviews. I hate measuring things quantitatively with colorimetric chemistry. It was in the price range so I took a chance. I used it to measure cold worked soap after curing for 1 month. The pH range is assumed to be 9-10. The counter showed me 9.45. I was right in the middle and very excited. The number hasn't increased much. I haven't had to calibrate this yet. Keep in mind. the probe must be thoroughly rinsed before storage. Use deionized water for best results. If it doesn't work the second time I will come back to edit my review. So far, I am very satisfied.
