They gray is just a solid, dark, medium gray in color.The style and fit of the pant is somewhere between a pair of khakis and that of jeans. They are fitted and look like you have dress colored jeans on instead of a loose fit dress pant that is typical. The fit is slimmer which gives it a more modern look.The sizing seems to be correct but again, this is a slimmer fit so if in doubt, between 2 sizes, or you don’t like tighter pants, order up.
