Review on Immersive Gaming Audio: Logitech G935 Wireless DTS:X 7.1 Surround Sound LIGHTSYNC RGB Headset - Black/Blue by Arun Kumar ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Feel free to buy, for such a price, the quality is simply amazing.

I am the happy owner of g933 for the second year and I decided to please my wife with a similar model. I bought it to replace the old 930, brand new 935) I don’t want to build a review in a comparative form with the previous version, because here many are not familiar with logi headsets at all, but still many points will slip on this topic. The review will be spread out above due to text restrictions, I will summarize at the bottom, who are too lazy to read) I summarize. Do you have 933? Wait until they die and buy 935. There is practically no point in switching. In general, the 933 is not much inferior to the new model. Of course, the money is yours, but there will definitely not be changes for 12 thousand) Don't have 933? Feel free to buy 935! Despite the minor nuances, the headset is extremely worthwhile.

Pros
  • About sound. In the 935, a 50mm speaker was installed, which was quite favorably reflected in the sound. There was more pressing effect, electronic music began to be perceived as more driving. There is a small increase in the scene, but I would say it is insignificant. But do not forget, this is a gaming wireless headset, not audiophile headphones with gold wires) About assembly and materials. They removed the backlash on the hinges, as a result, the squeaks disappeared. The volume scroll does not dangle. The buttons are tight. Magnetic lids sit much tighter. Relative to 933, the assembly received a significant level up! About ear pads. The skin is an excellent passive cutter of the outside world, they feel great on the head. The foam in the ear pads has a distinct memory effect. After an hour of sitting, the headset completely took the shape of the head and did not cause any discomfort. And yes, nothing sweats. But that's subjective.) About gaming and communication nuances. The microphone was slightly tightened relative to 933 ears. It became better to catch high frequencies and generally became louder. In terms of gaming moments, everything is like in 933. If you want to rebind all the keys on the headphones, please. Do you want automatic recognition of games - no question. If you want surround sound - already done! Do you want to turn off the computer with headphones or control the mouse buttons - yes, as your heart desires. For games and everyday use, it’s full stuffing, setting up a headset is limited only by your imagination) About wireless. Oh yes, it's a thrill! Guys, no delays and breaks if you follow the manual. Everything works fine up to 15-20 meters. You can make a sandwich in the kitchen and discuss the military tactics of the upcoming battle with teammates) Getting up from the computer, now you don’t have to be afraid of pulling out the wire and you won’t run over the wire with a chair. Cleaning around the house to driving music while the wife / husband is sleeping - please! Akb keeps quietly up to 10-15 hours at full volume. Turn off the backlight, make it quieter and I think you can squeeze even more.
Cons
  • About the kit. The theater begins with a hanger, and devices with packaging. Logitech has never had any complaints about the kit and packaging. And here they cheated the kit and the packaging looks flimsy. Disorder. The price has remained the same, but the attitude towards the client is worse. By software. Well, yes, there is trouble. G hub, which replaced LGS, is controversial and far from ideal. I've heard about a bunch of problems, but after a couple of weeks, nothing has been revealed. Everything is working normally. Although I don't like g hub because of the reduced mouse functionality, I still get along with it. About surround sound. Applies only to logitech fans, namely dolby surround technology performed by logi. In the new line of headphones, it was cut out. For me, this is a tragedy. But if you weren't interested in it before, just hammer it. This is at the level of self-hypnosis and habit. So 935 goes to my wife, and I'll stay at 933. She doesn't care, and she gets along well with DTS 2.0. Which, by the way, has pretty much changed relative to the old 933
