We bought this oven to replace a GE Profile microwave and convection oven in our RV. The new oven arrived a day early and was packaged very well. All four corners have been additionally protected. The glass plate was framed in styrofoam and arrived flawlessly. This oven is quite heavy at 78 pounds. My husband tells me it was easy to install. It fits perfectly in the space GE left behind. The Galanz oven is slightly taller than the GE. This is actually a plus for people with limited height like me. It's a lot easier to get food in and out of the oven. I have used several cooking functions and am very impressed so far. The convection cycle moves a lot of air and browns food nicely. The microwave function is very efficient. As with any new kitchen appliance, there is a big learning curve. The new touchpad will take some getting used to, but it's doable. I would like a better manual. The supplied operating instructions are very short and printed quite small, which makes operation a bit cumbersome. I found some videos on YouTube and there are some demos and recipes on the manufacturer's website. Still - I would even happily pay for a cookbook specifically for this oven with all the trimmings. I was skeptical about the lack of visibility when cooking, but in reality it's not a problem. It's easy to open the door and look inside. The LED countertop lighting is great with two levels of brightness. The interior is very easy to clean. It's made from large flat stainless steel plates with fewer nooks and crannies to hide dirt. The exterior is also very easy to care for. The Galanz oven is actually more attractive than the GE. Before purchasing, we carried out a thorough analysis. We could have spent twice as much money but I seriously doubt we would be twice as happy with the end result. There is a one year manufacturer warranty. We've added a five-year service contract for only $11. It's pretty cheap peace of mind. I highly recommend this oven.
