Weird Toothpaste Texture

I was happy to find a natural remineralizing toothpaste but couldn't get over the texture. It's too thick and sticky and difficult to get out of the jar. The kit does not include a spatula and the toothbrush is too hard. Also, I don't want to dip my used toothbrush in every time to scoop up more. Rough.
