My wife wanted this towel to replace a similar one she already has. She doesn't like using a hair dryer to blow out her hair. She just wants to pat it dry with a towel and preferably not tangle it too much while drying. I'm bald so I have no idea how weird it is to dry your hair a certain way. Anyway, here's the thing: Your old towel could handle all the wet like a champ, but it just wore out. This one is larger, doesn't wrap as tightly as she prefers, and doesn't tolerate moisture as well as she would like. It works, but it gets soaked through much quicker than your previous towel. After all, she still has hair to dry long after her usual "hair magic" process has begun. She's not so happy that her routine gets messed up. She already threw away the old towel, so now we need to find another towel that is better for her. The use they advertise seems less functional if you have significant hair on your head. Since I'm bald, this is perfect for me. Otherwise I would have looked elsewhere.
