My Tab Teardrop's black water valve handle was broken on one side. I decided to replace it before the other side of the arm broke off. I'm glad it has a metal handle. I recommend replacing this valve before you run into problems. Or at least have a spare on board, just in case. And if you don't need to change it, wait until you're at a campsite that has a sewer hookup. This way you can drain and even rinse out the tank before doing that dirty work. It's actually very easy to do. Have a bucket ready for a possible leak, fold your gloves in half in case one breaks. Use petroleum jelly as directed. I almost forgot this step. I'm not sure what happens if you don't use PJ, but I don't want to know. I haven't checked my work yet. I will update if there are problems. But I don't expect them to be.
