But after seeing what they were doing and thinking about my own experience with Lightning cables...I realized they actually have one could serve a practical purpose, so I bought a set. They fit perfectly with Apple branded Lightning cables. They make it much easier to detach the lightning cable when squeezing the protector. The durability and strength seem pretty good but I'm not sure in the long run... if it's a good match for the cable then I guess they shouldn't be a problem. However, if the Lightning cable doesn't have the same exact connector specs as the Apple cables and is a bit larger then the protector can flex a bit and I doubt it could break at some point... I have an older The Lightning cable and - RevainBasics plugs are slightly larger than Apple's. The profile fits, but because it was slightly larger, the profile bulged outward. Also... you can use this with a USB-C connector... but what's true for the larger Lightning cable connector is also true for USB-C, but more so... Finally, there's one more potential issue to watch out for... If you try This is because when your phone is in a case, the screen protector may get in the way depending on the screen protector on the cable.
