This playmat is everything I was looking for. It's low-tech and easy to use. My little friend often spits it out, but I throw the rug in the washing machine and it's ready to use again. I like that I can move around and add different toys to keep it interesting. I started using it at around 5 weeks and now at 11 weeks he is developing his hand eye coordination, he is working on his vision and tracking objects as they swing after hitting them. He spends most of his waking hours playing on this carpet.
