For a rough inspection of lines. I used one for a 3 inch t test, inflated at 40psi and air tested at 5psi and water tested. An air test showed no leakage. I can't tell if water leaked through the water test ball, but it held water from the basement to the rooftop (about 40 feet high) with no problem. Just a minute to set it up. Well made great product.
