I ordered this product because I commute on my bicycle to class every day. Although my commute isn't long, Iowa winters are cold enough for me to worry about not only my ears getting frostbite, but my face as well. It shipped just in time for the polar vortex that afflicted the whole Upper Midwest back in January. It was so cold that ISU cancelled classes. But on the 30th, equipped with this very balaclava, I rode to the grocery store at night, when it was almost -30*C. Even my best gloves could hardly keep up with the cold, but my ears and face were unaffected. I don't know how I would have made it through winter without this product. I'm looking forward to next winter, and I can't recommend this balaclava enough.
