I found it to be lightweight and comfortable while providing excellent protection. I used to use a hat with a smaller brim. To get the protection this hat provides I would put a towel over my head and pull my old hat down over it to hold it in place. While it worked I wanted an easier and more comfortable solution and this is it. I bought 2 of these and am very pleased.
