Review on 🎮 Logitech Harmony Adapter for PlayStation 3 - Discontinued by Manufacturer: A Must-Have Accessory by Jay Elmo

Like many other home theater enthusiasts, I used the Nyko USB IR adapter with the Harmony 659 remote. It was the only cost-effective solution to connecting the PS3 to the Harmony remote to control. Because of this, I accepted its limitations, particularly the lack of control over the PS3's power on/off function. A few months ago I heard rumors about the Logitech PS3 adapter, I thought it would be a long time before I could actually buy it. Then I went to Revain looking for something completely different and decided to look it up. To my surprise, it was in stock! I ordered one straight away and it arrived the next day despite opting for Prime 2 Day Shipping. I just installed the device and was stunned. I expected this to work, Logitech always make great products. What I didn't expect is that it's so easy to set up! I followed very limited instructions the whole time thinking it wouldn't work on the first shot, I'll have a long one tonight. Surprisingly, I pressed the 'watch movie' button on the remote and the ps3 turned on and everything worked great! To my surprise, I also use a next-gen remote extender (also purchased from Revain) and it worked great with that setup too. I just moved the next-gen IR emitter from the Nyko USB receiver I was using to the front of the Logitech PS3 Harmony adapter. Some might say this device is overpriced, but for me it was very reasonable. Now that I have full control of my system from the Harmony remote, I would pay more for that convenience. There are other solutions to what this device does, but they are significantly more expensive. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
