Review on Data Sync Manager (DSM) on Linux (BYOL) by Kevin Woods

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy and simple way sincg up/downloading

It is easy to use, has good support for different file formats, allows you to sync between two locations without having to install any software or buy expensive hardware. It also supports network shares which helps me with my work environment that requires us to have multiple computers in our office. I would like to see more options of sharing files from one location to another so it could be easier if there were more features available. Also sometimes when syncing data from one computer to another, some information gets lost at times but this can easily be fixed by resetting the synchronization process again. We are able to share documents across offices via DSM.

Pros
  • The fact we don’t need an installation program makes installing very simple along side being affordable too!You do not even necessarily require admin rights as long as your account holds administrator privileges within Active Directory; just make sure users under their profile hold read/write access before setting them up using LDAP authentication instead otherwise no
Cons
  • Not bad
