It is thinner than the standard blade, so it may be stiffer, which has something to do with the cutting action. I didn't notice any significant difference in cut between this and the standard blade. I lowered its price-to-dollar ratio. "Easy to use"? Cutting and polishing is hard, in my opinion, and I don't think it reduces the work, so I gave it a 3. But that's a pretty stupid question.
