Clippers offer a good cut and a nice quality feel. However, the problem I had was that the blade guard is NOT the same depth as Wahl or other brands. I usually use choice 4 on top and 2 on the sides which is what my barber used before Covid-19. When I used the 4 that came with them I got scalped. The tapered stem wasn't short, so it's definitely the guards. Depth 4 actually corresponds to the brand 2 choice and 2 generic brands that I have. It'll grow in a few weeks, but I'll definitely be wearing a hat for a while. Keep or buy Wahl covers and use them instead. Interestingly, I was talking about this trimmer and another one from Hattaker, so I ordered both of them to physically check them out. The other set had standard size protective cases. I'm sending these back (didn't use them) but wonder why the guards are different. It does not make sense.
