I needed a stand for my new HP 27 inch monitor and chose it for two reasons: 1) low price and 2) look how cute the cutouts are! Reviewers don't like them, especially the phone and coffee mug cutouts, but my phone (with case) fits perfectly, and what size coffee mug are they using that doesn't fit in that giant circle?! it's right now and there's a full 1/2 inch around it. Whatever the case, I'm not here to judge. The other cutouts are great for storing all the junk that's strewn about my desk and leaving room for more junk - a bonus! The device is ridiculously easy to assemble and fairly durable. I won't try to stand on it, but it's strong enough to hold almost any monitor. An added bonus is that my laptop fits neatly under the stand, and there's plenty of room for my Bluetooth keyboard too. My only concern is the height - I wish it was (at least) a full inch taller for better ergonomics. Maybe someday I'll ask my husband to get him higher legs, but so far he's doing his job. The stars were not removed because I knew exactly what I was buying and it wasn't going to be as high as I wanted. BUT CUTS!
