Load bearing? it is a reflector. Yes I know. But the fact that it's well made for the light quality it produces is overshadowed by the lightness in which it packs. well, googled. and wrinkled. and flattened. Don't let it be UNDER your heavy gear or UNDER any heavy gear if you turn a little too hard and shift all gears in the cockpit and push the bad reflector into a slightly curved mess. Too specific? On the plus side is how easy it is to bend back into shape, but be aware that even a simple drop of 5 feet flattened the rim, which I did within an hour of fitting it. Excellent. shapes the light well, keeps it inside, the included mesh is handy (but even less durable than the reflector itself) and when combined with the flash and S-mount creates a spot lighting solution you'll fall in love with. Just . don't hug him too tight.
