Well done. A bit of a bumpy start to programming. The car should beep when programming is complete. Both buttons held as instructed but no sound. Launched several times. At one point I accidentally hit the panic button and jammed the locks! Then the remote worked. Strange. Good thing I bought two of these because after programming the first one, I programmed the second one the same way, then I tested both and the first one stopped working. I reprogrammed that and the second one stopped working! Ok so confused now. What the hell? So I started researching again. Found: My '09 Silverado has a two driver seat storage option. This means that driver 1 can put his seat on one side and driver 2 can put his seat on the other side. There is a driver selection button on the driver's door. I have found that Remote 1 comes with DRIVER 1 and to program Remote 2 select DRIVER 2 on the door and then program the second remote. Once both are programmed, both work the same way. Now I have the one I use every day and I have a spare key AND a remote control!
