Review on Waterfall 🏞️ Building Squirrel LEGO Friends by Alex Panda

Cute little forest building set with 2 dolls and a squirrel

LEGO Friends 41677 Forest Waterfall (93+ pieces, ages 5+). This little set is pretty quick and easy to put together (2 packs of bricks and 3 slabs). Without stickers; Wood stump graphics printed. The colored instructions are easy to follow, but I don't like that the new parts added at each step aren't shown/numbered above each illustration. This is a nice little forest diorama. Three small pine trees and a few flowers surround the waterfall rock formation, a wooden bridge crosses the stream, and a campfire with two stools lies to the left. The girls can even find the gem hidden behind the cascading water (although the stupid squirrel mistakes it for food and steals it!) You get 2 connected minifigures, Andrea and Olivia. It's nice to see only non-Caucasian dolls in the set for a change (and not vice versa). However, I wish there was more character variety in this LEGO range; I'm sick of the same 5 girlfriends being used over and over again in almost every set. There are also binoculars, a coffee mug, a marshmallow on a stick and a scooter (with spinning wheels and handlebars) as accessories for the girls. And of course the cute squirrel gets a pine cone to chew on. It normally sells for $10, but Revain sold it for $7 for a while when it first came out earlier this year, so I paid for that. I give him 4/5 toasted marshmallows.
