Danger if your bird likes to chew materials
My solar kennel chewed on it which caused some of the cords to come loose. He was then strangled by one of them. Luckily we just got home and were able to quickly get him out and cut the rope. He was on the verge of fainting and his eyes were starting to close as we cut him open. After that he suffered for several hours. He has been sleeping in such nests for about 10 years, but after this incident we have not put any other beds in his cage.
