Does not work as described: If this is a genuine Purr product I don't know what they did to change it but they must return it. If it's fake, that explains why it's not working properly. I purchased this product in September 2020 and only started using it on November 3rd, 2020 as the filter in my system was new and did not need to be replaced. until now. I always buy this product in advance because it sells out quickly, so I like to have a set on hand. But now that I've received the bad kit I'll check it out in a reasonable amount of time in case it doesn't work as described and I have to return it. Longtime Purr System and Filters User: I have been buying Purr filters for at least three years and have never had a problem with them. The filter has always fitted my Purr filter system perfectly and the water has always flowed fairly quickly with no problems. My recent purchase: On a purchase I made in September 2020, not only does the filter fit horribly, but the water flow is so trickling that even using the filter is worthless. In addition, the filter is so tight that excessive pressure is created in the faucet, causing water to pool in the pipe instead of flowing out of the filter. I kept trying to get it working, removing the filter and putting it back into Purr's filter system with the same poor results. So I opened a second filter and tried it but got the same bad results. Neither of the two-pack filters work properly. Conclusion: Either the product is counterfeit or the manufacturer has modified the product. Anyway, I spent my money to buy it because it's unusable and it's too late to get my money back. Next time I will open the package and try it right away without waiting.
