They are definitely cheap. "You get what you pay for" is always a good rule of thumb when buying things. They only hold about 10 pounds which is normal for such a small cheap table. I coat them with polycryl to protect them from scratches and stains so maybe they feel a little less cheap. I had to order them twice because the first time they arrived scratched and with water stains. The company should have the best quality assurance but they will work until I'm ready to buy the best ones.
