Perfect addition to lighting and ceiling fans

I installed three of these sets in the kitchen about a year ago. I leave them on all the time even though I have the switches installed. I only had five bulbs on one of the larger adapters and the instructions say you can fit more so I ordered this small two bulb set. Like the others it had a lot of extras: a sticker, small cable holders etc. I had a full box from my previous install. So I had to light up a corner cabinet that I turned into a spice cabinet. Annoying corner cupboards are never good for anything. So I asked my husband to custom build the shelves and steps and paint the entire salon ivory. I drilled a hole on the side, from the end of the line of light, from the previous batch. I secured everything, placed low profile light fixtures on each side of the cabinet door, just inside the edge, and also placed an on/off switch inside. Everything is hidden. That works fine. I can turn off the last two lights in the chain with a switch and it doesn't affect the other lights at the beginning of the line. I found that in some of my wires that I kept under the counter, the sticky substance, which is surprisingly sticky, wasn't enough to hold in places where steam was constantly pouring out of the coffee maker or where greasy food was splashing. made the bare wood too porous for gluing, even though I cleaned the areas. My husband found some small U shaped nails which I hammered in and even hammered into the small cord holders while still using the straps. Ideal. It doesn't look perfect, but nobody really looks under cabinets to see the light. I did a very neat job routing the wires considering. and it just doesn't bother me.
