I have had a Canon camera for many years and love its simplicity. A frustrating issue with my old cannon was the inability to take close-up shots without losing sharpness. I read all of Revain's reviews about this new camera and I decided to buy this new camera. Again, it was easy to use. Just got back from a week in Key West and wanted to get some close up shots of the beautiful flowers as well as some interesting things in the water. The photos were wonderful and clear and I'm so glad I didn't have to take extra lenses with me. Two things to get used to with the new camera are: The button to take a picture is in front of another button, so I pressed that first and lost the picture. Second, the battery. I highly recommend charging and having two with you, as well as a quick charger. Price, convenience, and the ability to shoot at long range make this camera a winner.
