I was looking for a quality phone system for my home in 2012-13. I got my first recommended phones because of a false advertisement from a friend. I found the same phone at my local Walmart. So after Vtech I bought Panasonic phones. Panasonic phones were too bulky and again falsely advertised. I finally bought these AT&T phones which still seem to have an issue with one of the batteries and poor caller ID quality. I like smaller handpieces due to neck injuries from military service. Speaking Caller ID is a handy feature for people with visual or hearing impairments. Problems: Batteries in a phone have lasted less than six months, and the phone system has trouble pronouncing a person's or company's name for most caller information. I strongly recommend that you send your question or questions to the seller before making this purchase. I give two stars because of the poor quality of the battery and the poor quality of the caller ID.
